The native resolution is 720p, and a blurring upscaling algorithm is used, resulting in blurry lines with slight aliasing. The banding problem of the source is serious, but it is not that obvious under the coverage of noise. We applied descaling and reconstruction to remove aliasing and improve sharpness slightly. After that, we evaluated the banding of images after de-noising and adaptively adjusted the de-banding intensity accordingly. Finally, we applied routine compensatory sharpening and adaptive de-noising.
